Dural Tissue therapy Courses

We have been successfully running DTT courses in Australia and New Zealand since 2018.

We are hoping to take these courses Globally starting with courses in UK and Germany in May/June 2020.

There are plans to run more Australian and NZ courses in 2020 and beyond.

DTT is currently a 32 hour course split into 2 Parts running over 2 weekends. This structure for the course enables the participants to immediately return to practice and utilise the techniques and protocols learnt in Part 1 to successfully help reduce the symptoms of Dural & Meningeal tissue damage and inflammation. Upon returning for the second weekend of training the participant will be assessed on their gained knowledge and most importantly have the contact points and use of the protocols reviewed to enhance the participants ability to achieve amazing results in their practice.

Part 1

Dural Tissue Strains in the Spine and extremities

Focuses on the detailed anatomy of the Dural and Meningeal tissues. The mechanism of injury and symptoms of dysfunction. It covers Neurological examination of the structural Nervous system - enhancing your ability to assess and diagnose RANGE OF MOTION restrictions caused by Dural and Meningeal tissue dysfunction and musculoskeletal weakness caused by concentric stabilisation patterns designed to protect the tissues and prevent further injury.

Included in Part 1 are treatment protocols designed to help treat the symptoms of Dural & Meningeal tissue damage. to:

  • Dural Tissue strains of the Lx spine

  • Dural Tissue strains of the Sacrum

  • Dural Tissue strains of the Lower Limb peripheral Nervous system

  • Dural Tissue strains of the Tx spine

  • Dural Tissue strains of the Cx spine

  • Dural Tissue strains of the Upper lImb Peripheral Nervous system

  • Strains in the Pelvis and sprains in the ligaments of the pelvis

  • Tx Diaphragm strain patterns

  • Dural Tissue strains between the Thoraco Lumbar spinal region to lower Sacrum

  • Meningeal Tissue strains with Cranial bones, facial bones and the ligaments of the Meningeal tissues

Part 2

Dural tissue strain in the Autonomic Nervous system.

Continues to build on the anatomy and knowledge with further in-depth education of the Cranial bones and Meningeal tissues. It looks at the Sacrum and the ranges of movement it can facilitate.

Included in Part 2 are techniques and protocols designed to treat the symptoms of

  • Strains to the Dural tissue of the Vagus Nervous system.

  • Dural Tissue strains to the Sympathetic Nervous system ( SNS )

  • Dural Tissues strains between the SNS and Tx, Cx or Lx spine

  • Dural Tissue strains between the SNS and Tx rib cage.

  • Irregular cell damage to Dural & Meningeal Tissues

  • Pathological implications in the Dural Tissues

  • Emotional integration from damage to Dural & Meningeal Tissues
